Earthling versus A.I
Disaster or Dawn?
Before the main topic, it's prerequisite to understand the industry revolution 1.0 to 4.0 as below.
Industry 1.0 - Machine
From: 1760s to 1830s
D: The production reform from physical strength to machine power driven by water or steam.
Effect: The start of MP, Mass Production, replace the domestic OEM.
Industry 2.0 - Electrification
From: 1840s to 1870s
D: Electrical power significantly enables the improvement of railroad network, production line, telegraph, and quite a few systems powered by electric.
Effect: Electrification ensures that the machines are further advanced and the production increased exponentially.
Industry 3.0 - Computing power
From: 1929s to 1950s
D: The start of automation driven by computers like PLC, integrated chips, and etc.
Effect: The applications of automation evolve into less defective rate with great mass production.
Industry 4.0 - IoT
First mentioned in 2011
D: Cyber-Physical System which means the integration of human being, computer, and products.
Effect: Computer can actively detect the obstacle and expel it without any human being.
In this case, from the business perspective, I'd like to share my personal experience as below. Companies often possess different attitude on how to improve their facilities and production line. While some think they can just skyrocket the production such as by hiring more people, other tend to invest in more machine. Well, for me, I disagree that we can solve the production easily with more people and equipment because of following reasons.
First of all, a company should care about efficiency, and implementing system driven by machine learning or deep learning may help them to detect the faulty products easily in order to lower the cost and raise up the production. For instance, the learingGripper from Festo is one of tremendous applications of machine learning. The application of machine learning includes the data mining, statics, and even AI. That is to say, it's inevitable for people to understand the principle of machine learning because we utilize it everywhere from Pepper to SpaceX reusable rocket.
The definition of machine learning is as below and to simplify it.
The definition of deep-learning is as below and to simplify it.
(CNN, Convolutional Neural Net, is the well-known principle network.)

Machine learning
The definition of machine learning is as below and to simplify it.
"Give a computer a fish, you feed it for a day;
Teach it how to fish, you feed it for a lifetime."
Deep-Learning
Secondly, companies focus on development when investing in new products, and achieving the integration of company system so that we can have anything under control without a human being again. For example, the Telsa self-driving car is the pioneer in the application of deep-learning. Tons of application of deep-learning we can only imagine initially is now heading to insane phenomenon like Sophia, the first KSA robot citizen, it or she can catch your microexpression and even answer the concerned question like "Will you destroy human?" In other words, we'd better learn something we cannot be replaced such as emotional-required skill "Psychological counseling", maybe?

"Let the computer think the solution by itself"
Disaster and Dawn?
Last but not least, from the industry 1.0 to industry 3.0, people always can find our way out. In fact, we need to embrace the future rather than being afraid of new technology. The book "Slash" proves a classical example that we cannot rely any longer on a single career which means we should start our new career by accumulating specific area experience, works, or reputation year after year. Just like some people, they start to be a Youtuber, Blogger, and even coding a side-project, although the habit is hard to keep for years.
Anyway, it's your life and you own your destiny but I encourage you to take the first step just like I do!
Good luck! It's your life.
